Was in a roundtable event organized by the Singapore government. The usual suspects of industry veterans were sitted on the front roll and naturally these “old timers” were leading the discussions as per always. What caught my eye was a young individual sitted on the front roll and was soon getting himself involved in the discussions. His statements were a little “raw” but you could easily smell the passion, drive, motivation in him. He was not like majority of Singaporean youngsters, he spoke with conviction and full of his own dreams and thoughts. I saw in him a soon to be successful entrepreneur. Saw his start up interviewed by founder of SGEntrepreneurs the other day and I must say, if there were more of these hot blooded Gen Y in SIngapore, the Asia Silicon Valley will not be far away…

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Coming from a industry veteran like yourself, its both heartening and edifying for me and the team. Would work hard to find our niche like you have.
Also great blog you have here, dispensing your hard-earned wisdom for the good of the public. If you don’t mind, I can hook you up with the people at e27 who are also looking for business mentors to share the path of technoprenuership with the youth.
Hi Julian,
I’m no industry veteran, not that old…yet. =) Couple of years ahead of you only because of age and nothing else.
Glad to see Zopim is getting exposures in all grounds, pity I had to miss the last Unconference last week, registered though to show my support at least monetarily. =)
You’ve got my contact details, feel free to buzz anytime you need assistance or if anyone in e27 thinks I can be of any use anytime.
Keep the technoprenuership spirit burning…
